davemon
Was wondering what the rule is for the bridle length of a reserve parachute used on a PPG? Looking at reserve deployments on Youtube it looks like entanglements are pretty common if the wing isn't pulled in.
morgy
The wing should always be pulled in (if possible) when you have thrown your chute... The wing can re inflate and start flying again, In this case the wing and reserve work together to drive you into the ground... If your unsure about any techniques you should book in on an SIV ASAP...
davemon
I'm just trying to find out where the reserve canopy should be in relation to the wing. Such as1meter above or below the top skin. What's the best position for a clean reserve deployment.
